Diane Kruger's off-duty looks are as covetable as they come, and her red carpet style gives us palpitations, so a wedding dress would be enough to send us into fashion envy overdrive. But it looks like we better kiss goodbye to any bridal gown fantasies concerning DK, as she's said she won't be marrying long-term beau Joshua Jackson.
Speaking to Metro ahead of the release of her new film A Perfect Plan, she neatly tucked the disclaimer amid a speech about why she took the movie role.
"I love romantic comedies because I think all of us vibe into the idea of love and the crazy story lines to get to love, and join the ride, as silly as it may be. That's part of the enjoyment of it," she said, before breaking the news: "I'm not married and don't intend to be, and I never believed in love at first sight but I do believe opposites attract. I thought it was a sweet story."
Seriously - we're heartbroken. Though, we respect the pair's decision not to buy into convention and to do what suits them and their relationship best.
And really we should of seen this coming, as a whole two years ago Joshua explained: "Neither of us is religious, and the picket fence isn't what we're aiming at...We're together for six years now, so for all intents and purposes, we are [married]. I have no need for a priest to tell me that!"
Fair enough, guys. We guess we'll just have to stick to crushing on Diane's red carpet looks.
