Our Favourite Oxford Uni Acapella Choir Is Back For Christmas And Singing Mariah Carey

We thanked our lucky Christmas stars when we saw our favourite all-male acapella choir Out of the Blue had released another song, and it was none other than Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas.

The talented Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University group went global following their cover of Shakira's Hips Don't Lie, which even received praise from the Colombian singer herself.

At the time, Charlie Hicks, whose responsibility is to tweet the video to celebrities, told HuffPost UK: "Shakira tweeting back felt incredibly surreal. My task is to tweet celebs about our video and I could not have hoped for anyone better to talk about it! It's crazy that she even read our tweet, let alone watch the video AND enjoyed it enough to tweet us back!"

The group was formed in 2001 and perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year, as well as reaching the semi final of Britain's Got Talent in 2011.

The guys' latest release is to raise funds for the Helen & Douglas House charity and features Charlie Strachan, Will Northcott, Ollie Nicholls, Jack Remmington, Huw Braithwaite, Johan Trovik, Joel Fishel, Domhnall Talbot, Roshan Forouhi, Ollie Ralph, Jack Trzcinski, Charlie Hicks and Deon Fang.
