Facebook Could Finally Add A 'Dislike' Button

Facebook To Add A 'Dislike' Button?

Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg has said that Facebook is 'thinking' about the possibility of adding a 'dislike' button at a Q&A at the company's headquarters on Thursday 11 December.

Zuckerberg responded to the question saying 'we're thinking about it' but that if a button were to appear it wouldn't be called 'dislike'.

"We need to figure out the right way to do it so it ends up being a force for good, not a force for bad,"

Zuckerberg also responded to questions about Facebook's controversial real name policy saying that the decision was "part of building a safe community,"

He went on to say that, "On Facebook, most people refer to themselves by their real name and that's a very important part of our culture."

The CEO also defended the company's decision to carry out testing however admitted that following the fallout of the controversial emotional manipulation study, the company "could have done it a lot better."
