These Guys Built A Giant Hammock 400ft Above The Utah Desert

Meet The World's Scariest Hammock

This is the "Mothership Space Net Penthouse". Of course you wouldn't know by looking at it, instead you'd probably see the world's scariest hammock.

The massive net hammock was constructed high over the Utah desert by a conglomerate of highliners and BASE jumpers who were keen to find new ways of getting their yearly fix.

What resulted was a giant roped spiders web that allowed highliners to walk across the massive canyon while a hole in the middle became a launching point for BASE jumpers brave enough to venture across the ropes.

This year's effort, created by Andy Lewis, marks a noticeable increase over the previous year and with over 50 BASE Jumpers and highliners involved the hope is to make it even bigger next year.
