9-Year-Old Writes Adorable Thank You Letter To Police After Sydney Siege

A nine-year-old boy has written an adorable letter to New South Wales (NSW) police to thank them for their bravery during the Sydney Siege and for "always protecting us from the bad people".

In the letter, which was reportedly shared on the NSW Facebook page, Matthew says that he wants to become a police officer when he grows up.

"I want to be a police [sic] when I’m older," he writes.

"I saw you on the TV in the Sydney Siege [sic] and I think you are very brave. Thank you for saving the people in the Sydney Siege [sic] and always protecting us from the bad people."

"When I saw you on the TV I thought you were awesome and I want to be like you…"
