Mel B has broken her social media silence, to reveal that she spent Christmas with her husband, Stephen Belafonte.

Since the ‘X Factor’ final earlier this month, Mel has kept completely schtum on both her Twitter and Instagram pages, amid speculation that she and her husband’s relationship had hit a rough patch.
In fact, reports had even suggested that Mel was considering divorcing Stephen, after he was forced to deny "disgusting" allegations that he had been physically violent towards the former Spice Girl on Twitter, when she made her appearance in the ‘X Factor’ live final without her wedding ring.
However, it would certainly appear that they’ve now managed to patch things up, after she surprised her Instagram followers on Boxing Day with this snap, showing her three daughters enjoying a happy Christmas, with Stephen also in the picture.
It would seem that not everybody is happy about their romance, though, with even Stephen’s own brother, Jeremiah Stansbury, suggesting she would be better off without him.
He told The Sun: “It’s foolish. She could do so much better.
“She’s addicted to him and the sad thing is she doesn’t have to be.
“She wanted to give him a wake-up call. But they’ve been here before. I didn’t think their split would be forever.”
Concern for Mel grew when she missed the first half of the ‘X Factor’ final due to being in hospital with a mystery illness, while her worried mother and sister posted a flurry of tweets suggesting they had no idea where she was, and accusing Stephen of being deceitful over her whereabouts.
