Mario Balotelli Adopts Pair Of Staffordshire Bull Terriers From Liverpool Rescue Centre

Super Mario Bags A Brace

Mario Balotelli has adopted a pair of white Staffordshire Bull Terriers from his local rescue centre in Liverpool. That’s one dog for each goal he’s scored for the Reds since his £16million move from AC Milan to Anfield in the summer.

The striker posted this picture to his Twitter account, holding a rescue dog in each arm, along with the comment of "Met these guys on the local rescue centre and now they have a new home. Who can guess their names?"

Super Mario was forced to leave his Labrador Lucky in Italy when he moved to Italy as he refused to place it in quarantine before entering the UK. Fortunately, the 24-year-old frontman was able to stay in touch with the Pooch via the video messaging service FaceTime.
