One Salford University student has come up with a rather more novel, and slightly terrifying, way of exploring his university city - by freeclimbing.
James Jefferies films his adventures on his GoPro camera and says he just wanted to discover Manchester from every angle.
Speaking to Manchester Evening News, the 23-year-old said: "I’ve always liked climbing things and getting a unique view.

"No matter how high up I’ve been it isn’t something which gives me a sense of fear, I actually find it quite relaxing. I can just hear the faint noise of traffic below and it really focuses my mind."
Despite the incredible footage, we reckon it's definitely safer watching it than trying it yourselves!
