Aside from being a great accompaniment to oriental foods, the experts at Neal's Yard Remedies recommend using these two ingredients to help relax the mind, alleviate anxiety, improve communication and revive passion.

The scents of jasmine and lemon are enough to lift the spirits alone.

Here's how to make this warming drink at home:

You will need: (to make two servings)

1 stem lemongrass, chopped

1 tablespoon jasmine flowers

A dash of lime juice

Method:

1. Place the chopped lemongrass in a teapot and add the jasmine flowers.

2. Dilute 200ml (7 fl oz) of boiled water with 100ml (3 1/2 fl oz) of cold water so that the temperature of the hot water is approximately 70 degrees Celsius.

3. Pour the water into the teapot, allow the aroma to develop, and serve. In hot weather, this tea can also be served chilled.
