When a mum and dad came up with a novel way to reveal the gender of their fourth baby to their older children, things didn't quite go to plan.
It all started out so well, when Jason and Tiffany Mertlich presented their children with a large cake.
Gunner, six, and his two younger sisters Paisley and Harper gather round, but before they can take the first slice, their dad wants to know whether they think their mum is expecting a baby girl or boy.
Gunner predicts the baby is going to be a boy, but Paisley is convinced it's going to be a girl and Harper is hedging her bets declaring that it will be: 'A baby.'
Gunner is given the honour of removing the slice of cake that will reveal all. He carefully pulls out a slice to reveal... bright pink sponge.
"It's a girl!" he screeches, incredulously before descending into a full-blown temper tantrum, which his father captured on camera.
"Every time it's girls, girls, girls! It's all going to be girls! I don't want another girl. There's too much girls."
Gunner's despair runs so deep that he refuses to even try the cake, despite his sisters tucking in opposite him.
His father tries to console him by saying:
"You have the same reaction I did, bud."
The hilarious video has been watched more than 3 million times since it was posted on YouTube.
