While she looked amazing, Jen didn't, however, win the category, with the award going to Julianne Moore for Still Alice. Jen almost looked overcome with emotion as Julianne took to the stage and thanked her fellow nominees for being in such good company.

The pair have not been in attendance at the same function for six years, when they both headed to the Oscars in 2009.

Jolie also lost out on her directing nod for Unbroken, with the award going to Richard Linklater instead.
