Cara Delevingne wants to land a role on ‘Coronation Street’, it has been claimed.

After dominating the world of modelling, Cara has made no secret of the fact that she wants to cut her teeth as an actress… but who would have thought that meant she’d be destined for Weatherfield, rather than Hollywood?
However, a source has told the Daily Star that she’s a ‘Corrie’ superfan, and is desperate to make a brief appearance in the soap.

The source explained: “Cara loves ‘Corrie’ and would like nothing more than to appear on the show.
"She never misses an episode no matter where she is in the world.”
There is a slight hitch, apparently, as her “people” are worried that supping half a pint of bitter and tucking into a hot-pot in the Rovers Return wouldn’t exactly work wonders for her reputation as Britain’s Queen of Cool.
The newspaper’s source went on to say: “Her people are wary because they think her being in the show wouldn't suit her image.
“But Cara doesn't want a serious acting role, she's told them she'd love to just make a short appearance, even if it's just for a charity event.”
Stars to have made cameo appearances on the soap in the past include Mel B,who filmed a sketch on the cobbles as part of last year’s ‘Text Santa’ charity appeal, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
