The 2015 Oscar nominations have been announced! Best Actress nominees Marion Cotillard, Felicity Jones, Julianne Moore, Rosamund Pike and Reese Witherspoon must be feeling the pressure in the run up to this year's ceremony (get the 22 February in your diaries.)

Following the success of the 2014 version, the people at Big Group have charted every dress ever worn by a Best Actress winner including the Armani gown that Cate Blanchett picked up her prize in.
Although there doesn't seem to be a particular style or colour pattern here, there's certainly a specific rule when it comes to Oscars dresses - less is more. (Sorry J-Lo, but that risqué Golden Globes number wouldn't cut it at the Academy Awards.)
