NTAs Full Winners List: 'EastEnders', 'The X Factor' And 'Great British Bake-Off' Scoop Awards

'EastEnders' Win Big At NTAs - But Who Were The Other Winners?

It was a big night for 'EastEnders' at the National Television Awards on Wednesday, with the BBC soap managing to scoop every gong they were dominated for.

MORE NTAs:

Danny Dyer scooped the award for Best Serial Drama Performance, having gone head-to-head with his soap wife, Kellie Bright.

The pair have been involved in one of the most controversial storylines in recent soap history, that saw Kellie's character, Linda Carter, raped by her nephew.

After accepting his award, Danny admitted it was a "bittersweet" victory, joking" "I think Kellie deserved it, to be fair. She's been brilliant. So, Kel, I'll have it Monday to Wednesday, you have it Wednesday to Friday."

The cast and crew of 'EastEnders'

Maddy Hill was also given Best Newcomer for her role in 'EastEnders', while the soap later triumphed in the Best Serial Drama category.

Speaking on behalf of the rest of the cast, Adam Woodyatt - who plays Ian Beale - dedicated the win to the cast of 'Coronation Street', who are currently grieving the loss of Anne Kirkbride, who played Deirdre Barlow for over 40 years.

He said: "Without 'Coronation Street' there would be no 'EastEnders'… so we're dedicating this to The Weatherfield One'."
