This is the moment a British student was rescued from a Turkish mountain where he and two friends were stranded for eight days- surviving on nothing but insects and spring water.
David Mackie, a 21-year-old from Nottinghamshire, went missing after bad weather and flooding in the Antalya area. The exchange student, who was studying in Istanbul, managed to call the emergency services from his mobile phone, despite only having 2% of his battery left.

"I've not eaten for seven days now," Mackie said. "We ate a few ants and things like that and drank spring water from the mountains.
"We are extremely hungry and exhausted."
