Dawn O'Porter and Chris O'Dowd have welcomed a baby boy called Art.
The celebrity couple shared their happy news on Twitter after 36-year-old Dawn gave birth to the couple's first child on Sunday last week.
Joking about the news on Twitter, Chris wrote: "It's a boy! @hotpatooties & I would like to introduce Art O'Porter, our gorgeous baby. Well,I'm pretty sure he's ours (sic)."
The 'How To Look Good Naked' presenter also confirmed the news on her account where she described the first seven days spent with the baby as 'beautiful'.
She wrote: "Thanks all. He is one week old today. It's been a beautiful week. I think we'll definitely keep him;) (sic)."
According to our Baby Names Generator, the name Art has a number of meanings: in English, it is the shortened version of Arthur, meaning noble and courageous; in Celtic it means strong as a bear; and in Irish – Chris's nationality – it means noble bear.
The IT Crowd and Bridesmaids star Chris met Dawn through mutual friends at her 30th birthday party and wed the brunette beauty in a low-key ceremony in June 2012, when she decided to change her surname, Porter, to O'Porter, to acknowledge their nuptials formally.
Dawn then said she would be giving birth in Los Angeles because it is where they currently live, despite neither of them being from America.
She said: "We're having our baby in America definitely, but I don't know where we're going to be living in five years. It's nice that we travel all the time and we love living in LA. That's totally home. But London or Ireland is also another opportunity."
