Fashion Trends Spring/Summer 2015: Yellow

If your look says anything this Spring/Summer it needs to say "hello yellow". The bolder and brighter, the better.

On the catwalk it was Acne, Burberry Prorsum, Michael Kors, Emilia Wickstead and Ashish that shouted out this sunny shade. The vibe is fresh, fun and worn-to-be-seen.

Pops of canary and school bus yellow are best for those who can carry off a statement shade (as well as ear cuffs, flatforms, pixelated hair, glitter eyeshadow...) and have a bit of colour all year round.

The fine-knit jumper from H&M (£14.99) with your favourite denims and this Carnaby street Nails Inc. polish available at Selfridges (£11) is spot on.

And if you're feeling the love for the leather shoulder bag by Mary Katrantzou a la Net-a-Porter above (£975), then why the hell not? Make it your investment piece.

For something a little less loud (you're more about subtle splashes of colour) - lemon, maize, jasmine or mustard yellow are for you.

The F/S Hi spirit Reebok classics (£57) are very cool - wear with tapered mom jeans - and the yellow cord lace pencil skirt from Topshop (£75) teamed with a crop is how to flaunt your midriff.
