Katy Perry To Get Her Own Mobile Game From The Makers Of 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood'

You'll Soon Be Able To Play With Katy Perry On Your Mobile

The mobile gaming wizards behind 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' have announced a new game featuring Katy Perry.

The app will include the pop superstar's "voice, likeness, and personality," and will be along the same lines as Kim K's game, which has had 28 million downloads.

'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' netted $74.3 million in in-game purchases for GluMobile last year, despite only coming out in June.

'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' accounted for one-third of Glu's yearly revenue in 2014

The deal gives Glu exclusive rights to the use of Perry's likeness in mobile gaming for a five year period, and they plan to release the game in the second half of 2015.

"Katy is arguably the most recognized musician in America following her Super Bowl XLIX halftime performance this past Sunday," Glu CEO Niccolo de Masi said in a statement on Wednesday.

"She is a cultural icon and we expect to translate key elements of her success into an innovative, highly entertaining mobile experience."
