An avalanche is every skier and snowboarder's worst nightmare, they arrive unannounced and can be fatal. Imagine the horror you'd be feeling then if one started to form around you.
Filmed using his GoPro Hero 3, Sorin Radu had the misfortune to experience just that as he picked himself up and started casually heading down the side of a mountain.
Seconds later the ground around him was literally falling away. Incredibly he survived, despite being sent tumbling down the slope.
