A 34-year-old man has revealed that he has just 100 orgasms left before he permanently loses the ability to get an erection - and, as a result, have sex.
The man, who is known only as R.L.S, has an extremely rare medical condition which has resulted in a build-up of scar tissue in his penis.
He recently wrote a letter to BroBible describing his impending fate, in the hope that someone else had either had a similar experience or could shed some light on the situation.
Doctors call the condition idiopathic fibrosis of the corpora cavernosa, which means that every time R.L.S gets an erection, it causes an autoimmune reaction. This reaction causes a build-up of scar tissue, which, over time, will make it impossible for him to get an erection ever again.
R.L.S wrote: "I have a finite amount of real, working, orgasm-capable erections remaining. They estimate I have about a hundred [orgasms] left."
The 34-year-old said that after going in for a routine check-up, he was left "blindsided" by the diagnosis.
"My whole life changed in an instant," he wrote. "It's like hearing you have six months to live."

Now, R.L.S - who claims he's the first case anyone's ever seen - hopes to reach out to others who might have been diagnosed with the condition, or something similar.
He wrote: "I’ve tried every conceivable therapy and medication there is, but nothing works. So I’ve been through the five stages of grief. I accept my fate. But that’s not the same as knowing how to cope with it."
Dr Nitin Shori, medical director of the Pharmacy2U Online Doctor service said that while fibrosis in the penis is indeed a very rare condition, erectile dysfunction is a common problem among men.
“Sexual problems are pretty common and affect around one in ten men in the UK," Dr Shori tells HuffPost UK Lifestyle.
"Men of all ages can experience erectile dysfunction and it becomes more prevalent the older men get - half of men over 40 are likely to experience some erection difficulties."
Meanwhile, R.L.S added that masturbation is now also completely out of the equation and that, more recently, he's started to fear sex itself.
"I slept with one woman since the diagnosis, but when she wanted to go for a second round, a wave of incredible panic swept over me. I burst into a cold sweat and my chest felt like it was going to cave in on itself."
The 34-year-old hopes to now plan a "farewell tour" in order to say goodbye to sex forever.
