Morrissey Slams Madonna, Taylor Swift And The Brit Awards In New Rant

Morrissey Takes Aim At Taylor And Madonna

Morrissey’s not exactly known for being laidback and easy-going so his latest rant probably won’t come as a shock.

The former Smiths frontman has taken aim at a number of people in an essay, published on a fansite, True To You.

While the Brit Awards are Mozza’s main target, there are a number of other stars in the firing line, including Madonna and Taylor Swift, who will both perform at this year’s ceremony.

“In 2015, we have MacDonna, who had a quiet 2014 (but who is quite usefully about to release her new album!), yet here she is again promoting her frightening career on the Brit Awards even though her music has not ever said anything at all about British life.

“The maximum trimmings [at the Brits] divert your attention from the fact that Taylor Swift has nothing to do with Coventry or Wrexham.

“To pull off rank fraud in tellyland is not a difficult undertaking, especially if you have the entire population of Peru dancing around you as you mime your song.”

Ouch.

Mozza’s been rather quiet in recent months, but back in March he hit out at Prince William, criticising him for hunting.

“They have scraped cancerous tissues from me four times already, but who cares?” he told a Spanish publication.

“If I die, then I die. And if not, then I don’t."
