Andy Sugden should be enjoying life as newlywed in ‘Emmerdale’, but instead, the character is currently in turmoil following the death of his wife.
Sammy Winward’s character made her exit earlier this month, and in the weeks since, viewers have seen Andy struggle to cope.

Now, it seems he could go one step further, as new snaps from this week’s episodes show Andy, played by Kelvin Fletcher, teetering close to the precipice (literally).
Katie’s death came as a shock to the fictional village, and viewers, who had no idea how Sammy would be making her exit.

Last week, fans saw Robert attempting to carry on as normal, while feeling overwhelmed with guilt for being involved in his sister-in-law’s death.
‘Emmerdale’ has pulled in plenty of viewers in recent weeks, and the aftermath of Katie’s death was seen by 6.41 million.
