Not many people can upstage Missy Elliott, but way back in 2002 one little girl managed it when she busted some show-stealing moves in Missy's Work It video.
In fact Alyson Stoner, then just 10 years old, made such an impact on Missy's fans, that when the superstar performed Work It at the American Super Bowl on February 2, comments quickly started flooding in on Twitter saying the routine was missing one vital element.
The only thing missing from the half time show was the girl who danced in Missy Elliot's videos.

When @MissyElliott performed "Work It" I was waiting for that little white girl to come out & start hittin it! 😂 She was in every video!

A lot has happened in the intervening 13 years - Alyson has grown up and starred in the Step It Up movies, but Missy's fans will be pleased to know she can still do the iconic routine that was copied by kids in playgrounds around the world.
And to prove it she's recorded a tribute video featuring a mash up of a number of Missy's hits.
"To this day, I remember vividly Missy Elliott, Ludacris, and my grandma riding in a golf cart to set," Alyson told BuzzFeed recently. "My grandma went back to Ohio and told her bowling friends, 'Guess what? I was riding to set with Missy and Ridiculous!'
