Japan's Robot Bicycle Parking Machine Is Incredible

As cycling gets increasingly popular in London and around the UK, all eyes should be focused on this incredible bicycle storage system from Japan.

It's called the ECO Cycle and it's a robotic underground bicycle park that store over 200 bicycles without any human intervention.

You simply roll the bicycle onto platform, the bike is then grabbed and descends down into a huge underground storage area where the bikes are kept. You can then wander off, safe in the knowledge that your bike is more likely to be destroyed by a natural disaster than stolen by a thief.

Those who want to sign up to the service pay around $15 per month and use a contactless card which they carry around with them. They then have access to any of the bicycle parks.
