Classic Seventies Cocktail: How To Make A Margarita

All cocktails are fun, but the Margarita? Love it or hate it, it's the classic good time drink and guess what? It's one of the easiest cocktails to make at home. Hurrah!

So - ready for Marg night? We asked Oskar Kinberg, expert mixologist at London's Dabbous, to share his favourite recipe below.



50ml white tequila

20ml fresh lime juice

10ml agave syrup

5ml fresh orange juice


Shake the ingredients together and double strain into chilled cocktail glass. Add a salt rim for a traditional margarita taste.

And for a twist on the Mexican classic? Try using loose cooked beetroot - about 1/3 beetroot per drink - for amazing colour and flavour.
