Paddy McGuinness has stated that he’s hoping ITV bosses will commission a series of ‘Take Me Out’ that features gay contestants.
Speaking on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, Paddy reveals that he’s been asking the show’s team if they can make “a gay version” of the hit dating show.

He explains to the chat show host: “I have asked about a gay version. We have done an OAP special and a celebrity special.
“I have also asked about a reality TV special. It is in the mix. It is up to the powers that be.”
Since first being screened in 2010, there have been a number of successful matches on ‘Take Me Out’, including two exes who got back together on the show earlier this month.
“We have had two weddings, we have four engagements and two children born from the show,” Paddy continues. “We have only been on five years. I love doing it.”
Matt Lucas will also star on Saturday’s episode of ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, as will Jennifer Saunders, who is currently working on a film version of her hit TV show ‘Absolutely Fabulous’.
