Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has unveiled a new, shorter haircut, by sharing snaps on Instagram.

The ‘X Factor’ judge teased fans with a picture of hairdressing scissors, and the caption: “Long over due…”

She then posted two pics of her ‘70s-inspired layered bob cut.

Cheryl is yet to give her new look its first public outing, and she's currently busy gearing up for the release of her next single ‘Only Human’, the follow-up to the chart-topping ‘I Don’t Care’.

2014 was a busy year for Cheryl, and after announcing her plans to return to the 'X Factor', she shocked everyone by secretly marrying her boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

Cheryl is yet to confirm whether she’ll be back on the judging panel for the 2015 series of the show.
