‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Dan Osborne has been suspended from the reality show as show bosses investigate claims he threatened his ex-girlfriend.

A recording obtained by The Sun newspaper, reportedly contains audio of the 24-year-old making threats and insulting his ex, Megan Tomlin, who is also the mother of his first child.

The Sun on Sunday published a leaked recording, which appears to show him threatening 23-year-old teacher Megan if she moved on from their relationship despite breaking up more than a year ago.
A spokesperson for the show told The Sun: “We will be speaking to Dan about this. In the meantime he will not be taking part in filming.”
Dan - who had a baby daughter Ella with ‘EastEnders’ actress Jacqueline Jossa last month - has yet to make a comment on the recording, which was reportedly handed to The Sun by a concerned friend of Megan.
It is believed the police have heard the recording, which is thought to date from the time Dan was arrested last November for assault. He was released without charge.
Dan isn’t the first ‘TOWIE’ cast member to be suspended from the show.
In June last year Mario Falcone was suspended from the show after pictures of him snorting cocaine emerged.
And James ‘Arg’ Argent was suspended last October last year after testing positive for cocaine after a random drugs test. He has since returned to the show after a spell in rehab.
