'Frozen' Sequel Confirmed By Disney And Pixar Boss John Lasseter

The Frozen Sequel. Is. Confirmed.

'Frozen 2' is in development. That's official.

The news to delight a million children, and the rest of us, was revealed at Disney's annual shareholder meeting.

No release date or production details have been made public, only that it will be made by the same team - directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, producer Peter Del Vecho - who brought us the original hit film.

Actor Josh Gad, who provides the voice of Olaf in 'Frozen', was also on hand, so that's one original character confirmed at least.

The original 'Frozen' film became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, when it was released in 2012, and won two Oscars, for full-length animation and, you guessed it, Best Song for 'Let It Go'.
