The AeroMobil 3.0 is the pretty much the realisation of every dream you've ever had about a floating UFO-style hover car.
The good news is that it looks even better than our rather clunky verbal description. Half-Italian sports car and half futuristic spaceship, AeroMobil's flying car could be hitting the roads (and the air) in less than two years.
Speaking at South by Southwest festival in the US, AeroMobil CEO Juraj Vaculik has revealed some more information on how the first consumer-ready flying car will be launched to the world.
One of the biggest hurdles they're facing is weight. At the moment the AeroMobil 3.0 is simply too heavy, however Vaculik is confident that they'll be able to solve the weight problem in less than two years.
Once solved he then has to get the relevant flying authorities on board. The safety testing will be stringent but the company always knew that and they've been preparing for it since conception.
Finally, when it launches the company will adopt Tesla's earlybird approach, the finished version will be aimed at those with money to burn and a passion for the futuristic, it won't be the car that you or we drive, but it will be the start.
