'Space Invaders' might be a video game classic, but if it is lacking in anything it's a dose of realism.
Enter the folks over at JustAddSharks who realised that the only way 'Space Invaders' could be any better was if it was real, and involved incredibly powerful lasers.
Taking these two clear stipulations the team created a mockup using foam 'force fields' and paper 'aliens', which would then become the targets for their frankly overpowered 80W laser tube.

The result is a real-life version of a retro gaming classic.
