Katie Hopkins Depression Comments Call Some Suicidal People 'Attention Seeking Bastards'

Katie Hopkins Basically Just Said Depression Doesn't Exist

Perennial motor mouth Katie Hopkins has told suicidal people 'to top themselves in private' following the apparent deliberate crashing of a passenger plane by a German pilot.

Not content with sparking anger with that tweet she then laid into people suffering from depression more generally.

Last week Andreas Lubitz locked his colleague out of the cockpit of the A320 they were flying and crashed it into the French Alps killing himself and 149 people.

Questions have been raised about his health and the discovery of torn up sick notes which suggest he should have been signed off work on the day of the incident.

German police have searched his home in Dusseldorf and seized material which will now be examined as part of a probe into the crash.

Hopkins' comments were roundly derided.

Others attempted to make a comparison between depression and epilepsy from which Hopkins suffers.
