After the remaining eight contestants performed, presenters Emma Willis and Marvin Humes announced that Vikesh Champaneri, Sheena McHugh, Karis Thomas and Joe Woolford had failed to impress the public, and would therefore be going home.

This means that performing next weekend's live final will be Stevie McCrorie, Emmanuel Nwamadi, Lucy O'Byrne and Sasha Simone, who will battle it out live in the hope of following in Jermain Jackman's footsteps and taking the 'Voice' crown.

'The Voice' coaches

Ricky Wilson has two acts in the final - Stevie and Emmanuel - while last year's winning coach will.i.am is mentoring Lucy.

Sir Tom Jones is hoping he can win the show with his act, Sasha, making Rita Ora the first coach of this year's series to have no contestants left in the competition - not the best start to her time on 'The Voice' really, is it?

This year's finalists and their coaches

As is usually the case with 'The Voice UK', the remaining acts will each perform two songs in Saturday night's live final, including a duet with their mentor, before one of them is eliminated.

The remaining three will then perform one song each for the final time, before this year's winner is announced.

Let us know who you want to win 'The Voice' 2015 below…

Despite previous series of 'The Voice' failing to deliver us with huge pop stars like its main rival 'The X Factor' - which has spawned the likes of One Direction, Leona Lewis and Olly Murs across its 11-series run - coach Ricky Wilson recently said he has faith that the show will eventually deliver a number-one artist.

It was recently reported that this year 'The Voice' would be taking a leaf out of its rival's book, with the eventual champion releasing a winner's single immediately after the final.
