For the second time in six months a huge blinding flash has temporarily turned night into day above the skies in Russia.
The mysterious white light was seen above the city of Stavropol, caught rather handily via a driver's dash cam.
The video -- which was sent in to Russia Today -- clearly shows the night sky light up with a blinding white flash and while it's clear that hundreds must have seen the lights no one seems to be able to identify what they actually are.
This is the second time that an unexplained light has appeared in the skies above Russia, with a similar event taking place last year when a giant orange flash lit up the Sverdlovsk region of North Russia.
While some had speculated that it might be a giant meteor, many argued that there would have been ground-based evidence of the impact. Other conspiracy theories include a nuclear blast, UFO and even secret military weapons.
