‘The Voice' Star Stevie McCrorie On Track For UK Singles Chart Number One With 'Lost Stars'

Stevie Set To Break 'The Voice' Curse

‘The Voice UK’ winner Steve McCrorie is on track to score a number one, which will make his winner’s single ‘Lost Stars’ the most successful in the show’s history.

The mid-week chart update indicates that Stevie is currently 4,000 sales ahead of his closest rival, US superstar Nick Jonas’s ‘Jealous’.

Stevie's set for success

‘The Voice’ isn’t exactly known for producing superstars and at present, the most successful winner’s track is Andrea Begley’s 2013 release ‘My Immortal’, which peaked at number 30.

Sadly, the show’s not doing quite so well and the finale was the least-watched in its four-year history.

However, early indicators showed that Stevie was likely to succeed, and his track jumped straight to the top of the iTunes download chart in the hours after its release.

Can Stevie hold on to his lead? The latest official UK Singles Chart will be published on Sunday 12 April.
