It turns out that film fans looking forward to seeing the ‘Batman v Superman’ trailer have far less time to wait than they first thought, after the trailer leaked and was posted online.

A 20-second teaser clip for the film was posted on director Zack Snyder’s Twitter page earlier this week, along with the announcement that the full trailer would be making its official debut at IMAX cinemas on Monday, 20 April.

However, ahead of these special IMAX events, the full trailer has now leaked and been shared on the Internet, after being recorded onto someone’s mobile phone.

The low-quality video features the full two-minute trailer for what promises to be one of 2015’s biggest films, as well as subtitles in Portuguese.

Warner Bros., suffice to say, are hard at work trying to have the trailer taken down from YouTube and other file-sharing websites, ahead of its official release next week.

‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ will see Henry Cavill reprising the role of Superman first seen in ‘Man of Steel’, while Ben Affleck will be making his debut as Batman.

However, despite being the titular characters, they won’t be the only superheroes appearing in ‘Batman v Superman’, with Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa also among the cast as Wonder Woman and Aquaman, respectively.

‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ is due to hit UK cinemas on 25 March 2016.
