Jeremy Clarkson WILL Return To The BBC Says Head Of BBC Two And BBC Four

Jeremy Clarkson WILL Return To The Beeb After All

Jeremy Clarkson will be back on the BBC despite being sacked from ‘Top Gear’, according to the head of BBC Two and BBC Four.

Kim Shillinglaw, who is in charge of finding Clarkson’s replacement on the motoring show, says the presenter has not been banned from appearing on the BBC.

"It's serious and unfortunate what happened but there is no ban on Jeremy being on the BBC," she said.

"It's a big deal what happened and Jeremy, as any human being would, needs some time."

"Of course I wouldn't rule that out, but that's not for now," he said.

In March the BBC confirmed that Clarkson’s contract would not be renewed following his infamous 'fracas' with a 'Top Gear' producer.

It led to him being suspended from the show, after he punched a producer in a heated exchange over an evening meal.

In a statement, Tony Hall, BBC Director-General, said at the time that it was with 'great regret that the BBC would not be renewing Clarkson's contract'.
