Katie Hopkins Leaves Twitter Followers Confused With Message About New Royal Baby's Name

Katie Hopkins' Tweet On Royal Baby Doesn't Offend, Just Confuses

Katie Hopkins didn't rest her opinions when the new royal baby arrived yesterday, but one of her tweets left her followers just confused, not even offended.

After the birth of the new princess was confirmed yesterday morning, the outspoken columnist posted a message about what the baby might be called.

She wrote, "Fingers crossed for a Charlotte Diana. Prince William - vengeance is sweet my son xx."

Answers on a postcard, please... anyone?

If it was some sly reference to William's mother's legacy within the royal family, well, William long ago sorted that out, giving his then fiancee Kate Middleton his mother's engagement ring "so that she would always be part of it".

Katie did later add her praise for Kate's quick turnaround at the hospital, reminding her followers that "birth is a biological process, not an emotional saga".

Perhaps Katie was just warming up again, following the news that Lorraine Kelly would not want her on her popular programme, and that she was having trouble recruiting guests for her own, desired 'Oprah-style' show.
