‘Star Wars’ fans have been given their first glimpse at Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong’o’s ‘The Force Awakens’ characters.
The two stars’ roles in the hotly-anticipated film have been confirmed in a new Vanity Fair shoot, in which Adam and Lupita feature alongside a number of their co-stars.
As suspected, Adam will be taking on the role of a villain, Kylo Ren, and the first official snap of him in character, also features two stormtroopers.
Meanwhile, Lupita will play the CGI-rendered Maz Kanata, though it is not clear whether she’s fighting for good or evil.
A third snap confirms that ‘Game Of Thrones’ star Gwendoline Christie will play a stormtrooper.
Her official character name is Captain Phasm.
The eighth film in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise will hit cinemas this December, and the recently-revealed trailer gave fans their first look at the new characters, and the old favourites making a comeback.
