While the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce and Rita Ora were dazzling in gowns at the Met Ball on the weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow was no where to be seen.
Instead, she was at home spending quality time with her 10-year-old daughter, Apple.
Gwyneth shared the adorable photo the following day, with the caption "This was the red carpet in my house last night."
Apple was pictured in a blue onesie and (what looks like) Monsters, Inc slippers, but didn't show her face. Her long blonde hair fell down her face, and we can't help but think she looks just like her mum. Agreed?
Having rarely shared snaps of her daughter before, fans on Instagram were excited by the reveal with the photo receiving over 14,000 likes.
One commenter said: "Too cute, way better than the red carpet."
But this isn't the first time she's missed the Met Gala in favour of a more toned-down evening.
In 2013, Gwyneth was reported saying the Met Gala wasn't for her, branding herself as "too old" for the event.
"It sucked," she told Australian radio hosts at the time. "It seems like it's the best thing in the world, you always think, 'Oh my god, it's gonna be so glamorous and amazing and you're going to see all these people' and then you get there and it's so hot and it's so crowded and everyone's pushing you."
Although rarely sharing pictures of her two children, she posted this beauty last month when on holiday in Mexico. Gwyneth's nine-year-old son, Moses, is shown with his hand around the back of his sister. Aww.
Gwyneth filed for divorce from long-term husband Chris Martin in April 2015 but so far, it all seems pretty amicable.
