Caroline Flint Running For Deputy Labour Leader, Criticised After BBC Radio 4 Interview

Caroline Flint's 'Going Forward' Vision For Labour Did NOT Impress BBC Radio 4 Listeners

Caroline Flint is now joining the race for deputy Labour leader - but her comments on BBC Radio 4 this morning did not seem to get her bid off to a good start.

Twitter users were tear into Flint, MP for Don Valley since 1997, over her choice of words - which largely consisted of the phrase "going forward"...

Even listeners who didn't join the "going forward" brigade did not seem impressed with her performance.

Many accused her of not answering questions, as well as using "meaningless" language.

In fairness, there were some pleased to hear Flint was in the running for the deputy leadership...

Also in the running for deputy leader is former Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw, as well as Shadow leader of the Commons Angela Eagle, Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk and West Bronwich East MP Tom Watson

Harriet Harman will resign her position as deputy leader once a new deputy and leader is chosen.
