According to new reports in The Sun on Sunday, Grimmy, who has never been shy about his love of partying, has been warned to try and tone down his hectic social life for a while, if he is to take the job replacing Louis Walsh on the ITV talent show.

The newsaper have claimed that Simon Cowell has made it clear he won’t be putting up with any “excessive bad behaviour” from the Radio 1 DJ, with a show insider explaining: “No one would expect him to be a saint, we’d want him to be himself. But obviously it’s important that you turn up for work.”

Since taking over the Breakfast Show on Radio One back in 2012, Grimmy has been known to come straight to work from a night out, never making a secret of the fact that he enjoys burning the candle at both ends with his seemingly never-ending list of celebrity pals, which includes Harry Styles, Rita Ora and Daisy Lowe.

He is currently thought to be on ‘X Factor’ producers’ wishlists to replace Louis Walsh as a judge, who has been all but confirmed to not be returning for this year’s series, even admitting himself that he’d be up for the job in a recent interview.
