Britney Spears made a triumphant return to the stage at the Billboard Music Awards last night as she performed at her first major awards show since 2007.

And in complete contrast to 2007’s incident at the MTV VMAs, Britney had everyone talking for the right reasons as she strutted her stuff in a see-through catsuit complete with PVC privacy patches.
Her performance at the VMAs came at the height of her personal problems and was supposed to mark the start of her big comeback.
However, scathing reviews of her less-than-impressive set meant that Britters has steered clear of performing at such events for eight years, and has rarely performed on live TV since.
This time around, fans praised her on-point dance routine and speculated that she may even have been singing live - a rarity for the ‘Baby One More Time’ hitmaker.
Earlier in the evening, Britney took to the red carpet with boyfriend Charlie Ebersol, where she looked stunning in a gold mesh, floor-length gown.

The couple have been dating since September last year and rumours recently began swirling that they were engaged when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger during a holiday to Hawaii in March.
