Lego Says Happy Birthday To Eurovision - And It's Perfect

In case you’ve been living under a pile of sequinned flares, the Eurovision Song Contest is back this weekend and in celebration of the event’s 60th anniversary, some of the most memorable acts from Eurovision past have been turned into Lego to mark the momentous occasion.

Well, if it’s good enough for Jeremy Clarkson and the ‘Top Gear’ lot.

Over the past six decades, the annual song contest has brought us some truly memorable acts, usually wearing some unforgettable outfits, which have now been transformed into tiny animated plastic bricks ahead of this year’s show.

Everyone from Abba and their highly suspect combo of satin, sequins, flares and platform boots to Bucks Fizz’s children’s television-inspired primary coloured get up have been paid tribute to (and yes, those skirts DO get ripped off)....

Oh, and and Lordy are suitably terrifying (not).

No word on whether these Lego editions will be available to buy, so in the meantime you’ll just have to enjoy them in moving picture format in the video above.
