But life goes on, and the folks behind everyone's favourite dysfunctional family need to find a new voice actor, to bring characters like Ned Flanders, Mr Burns and Dr Hibbert to life.
The internet has found that person: Brock Baker. He looks a bit like a younger Charlie Brooker and he can do spot on impressions of all the characters Harry Shearer used to voice.
Seriously, Fox. Get this guy on the payroll!
