Matthew Lewis Pleads With Admirers To Stop Sending Him Filthy Tweets

Matthew Lewis will probably think twice the next time he’s asked to strip to his pants for a photoshoot, as he’s been getting rather a lot of attention since those semi-naked snaps from Attitude surfaced - and not all of it’s wanted.

Well, really, what exactly did he expect?

Hilariously, the ‘Harry Potter’ star has taken to Twitter to plead with fans - and rather a lot of new admirers - to stop sending him filthy messages because *coughs* his mum might read them.

“Gimme a break, guys, me mum reads this stuff… #BanThisFilth,” he tweeted.

Errrrm, we think she might have seen the pics too, Matthew.

It’s not just his mum that Matthew has to worry about either - 'Harry Potter' author, JK Rowling, was left blushing too.

JK, who has known the 24-year-old since he was barely out of nappies, urged Matthew to ‘put some clothes on’ in a series of tweets.

"I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on," she tweeted.

However, the 49-year-old writer - who is currently working on the script for 'Harry Potter' spin-off film 'Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them' - admitted the risqué shoot wasn't quite as bad as witnessing Daniel Radcliffe baring all on-stage in 'Equus' on London's West End.

"Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake," she added.

And although the author caught a glimpse of Matthew’s provocative photos, she insisted she wouldn’t know if he looked good in the snaps as she didn’t look at them long enough.

Replying to Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy, who referred to Matthew as 'Neville Pertbottom', she joked: "I wouldn't know. I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock."
