Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Alesha Dixon appears to have hit out at Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s aversion to singing live, in a new interview.

Alesha is currently gearing up to perform her new track ‘The Way We Are’ during the live semi-finals of ‘BGT’, marking her first single release in four years, and she’s determined to sing it live.

Cheryl, on the other hand, was famously reliant on a pre-recorded vocals when she delivered an underwhelming performance of her single ‘I Don’t Care’ during the ‘X Factor’ live shows last year.

Speaking to The Sun, Alesha insists: “I’m not afraid. In the past Cheryl has been given a bit of stick, but we’re different artists. I’m not one of these people who shy away from a challenge.”

She goes on to say: “I always sing live, that’s standard for me. It’s my job... I’m just enjoying it, I love the record, what’s the worst that can happen?”

Poor old Cheryl is getting it from all corners at the moment, after being described as “irrelevant” and “lazy” by her former ‘X Factor’ co-judge, Louis Walsh.

Luckily, our Chezza gave as good as she got, accusing Louis of being dependant on her guidance during their time together on the ITV singing show.
