Lauren Goodger has spoken out following her ex-boyfriend, Mark Wright’s wedding, insisting that it hasn’t got her down.

As fans of the early days of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ will recall, Mark and Lauren’s 11-year relationship was a particularly turbulent one, culminating in them breaking off their engagement in 2011, in full view of the ‘TOWIE’ cameras.
Over the weekend, Mark married his fiancée of two years, Michelle Keegan, and despite suggestions to the contrary, Lauren is insistent that there are no hard feelings towards her ex, or his new wife.

In an interview in the new issue of Now magazine, Lauren brands a rumour she was planning to text Mark on the eve of his wedding “a load of rubbish”, adding: “I’ve no desire to text him. Why would I?
“I wish them all the best and hope they had a lovely wedding and that’s that.”

She also asks people to stop comparing her to the former ‘Coronation Street’ actress, claiming: “I’m not in competition with anyone. Don’t compare me to anyone, because I’m my own person.”
The night before Mark’s wedding, Lauren did make headlines for sharing some snaps on her Instagram page, where she was seen letting her hair down on a night out.
