A Swedish newsreader has been forced to apologise for referring to immigrants as "kebab technicians" during a bizarre clip that was accidentally broadcast live on Swedish TV.
Fredrik Ahl - unaware viewers across the country could see him - also sang opera and performed an array of weird impressions.
Viewers of the Sörmland digital network who recorded the clip can be heard in hysterics as he pulls face, sings and makes random hand gestures.
But it was his comments about immigrants that provoked a less humorous response.
While parodying a news report he said: "Those who come are often educated engineers, doctors and kebab technicians."
Ahl told Expressen: "I know that I often joke around before a television broadcast to help me get started. I am a bit of a clown and I use playful jargon."
The network have also apologised and have yet to work out how the clip was broadcast.
