‘X Factor': Olly Murs Backs Rita Ora For Judging Role as Bookies Suspend Betting

Olly Reveals His Pick For The 'X Factor' Panel As Bookies Suspend Betting

‘X Factor’ fans are expecting Simon Cowell to reveal who the show’s new judges are any day now, and presenter Olly Murs has revealed who gets his vote.

The singer, who will front this year’s series with Caroline Flack, has admitted that he reckons Rita Ora would be fab on the panel.

Speaking to The Mirror at the Capital Summertime Ball, Olly said: “I'll be honest. I think Rita would be a good one because she's done ‘The Voice’."

On Sunday, bookmakers William Hill suspended betting on who will be named as judge, after “a run of bets” were placed on the ‘Poison’ singer.

“We saw a similar gamble shortly before Dannii Minogue joined the panel and it looks like Rita has got the job,” William Hill spokesman, Rupert Adams, stated.

The new panel is part of a larger ‘X Factor’ shake-up, that has already seen Dermot O’Leary traded in for Olly and Caroline.

It’s believed that Louis Walsh and Mel B won’t be returning to the panel, and instead, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will be joined by two new recruits.

‘X Factor’ will return to our screens this Autumn.
